Day 1: Visitors to the Emerald City find a fusion of American, Asian and Native American cultures, set against a backdrop of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Sample the freshest seafood to be found along the Pacific Rim, as well as a cup of Seattle’s famous coffee.

Day 2: At Sea

Day 3: Known as the “Salmon Capital of the World,” Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world’s largest collection of totem poles. The name comes from the Tlingit phrase “katch kanna,” which roughly translated means “spread wings of a thundering eagle,” a tribute to the hundreds of eagles that nest in the mountain forests above this small outpost.

Day 4: Book-ended by two of Alaska’s most dramatic glaciers, the North and South Sawyer, and surrounded by granite walls that rise 3,000 feet from the emerald colored seas, this area has everything you’ve come to Alaska to experience.

Day 4: Juneau is culturally, politically and socially active. The Native tribes, rich with the artistic traditions, have had a profound influence on the development of the city. With dozens of dazzling art galleries, high end boutiques, inviting restaurants and unparalleled scenic landscape and wildlife, there is always something exciting to do in Juneau.

Day 5: You’ll sail beyond the Inside Passage into the more protected Alaska Inside Passage, a complex labyrinth of fjords and bays where whales and sea lions find refuge during the summer months.

Day 5: Skagway is the smallest borough in Alaska and is located in a narrow glaciated valley at the head of the Taiya Inlet, the northernmost fjord on Alaska’s Inside Passage. Surrounded by snowcapped mountains, glistening glaciers and the beautiful Alaskan sea.

Day 6: At Sea

Day 7: The capital of British Columbia is located on Canada’s largest island, Vancouver Island. This seaside enclave and one time British colony has retained much of its colonial splendor. And thanks to a temperate climate, Victoria blooms with color during the spring and summer months.

Day 8: Arrive back in Seattle.
